In August 2009, SCMG members visited the home patch of City of Albany community delegate, Brad Kneebone. We were joined by local coastcare volunteers and CoastSWAP representative, Sue Mountford.

The Lowlands Coastcare Group, a sub-committee of the Youngs Siding Progress Association, has been working for many years to facilitate sustainable access and rehabilitate damaged areas in the Lowlands Coastal Reserve.

Below are some pictures of the lookout and visit to The Deep, where the group has rehabilitated multiple tracks that criss-crossed a steep hill, and Second Beach, where the group redesigned the parking area and installed brush fencing and steps.
